This policy explains how Window Cost Calculator (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you request window cost quotes through this website. We are the data controller for the information you submit through our enquiry form.

What we collect

When you complete our enquiry form we collect the details you provide:

• Your first and last name;
• Your email address;
• Your phone number;
• Your postcode; and
• Your answer to whether you own your home.

We also automatically capture marketing attribution data so we understand how you found us. This includes the campaign source and other UTM values, advertising click identifiers (for example Google or Meta click ids), the page you first landed on, your browser user-agent and your IP address.

How we use your data

We use your details to process your enquiry and to introduce you to a matched, vetted installer who can provide a quote. When you submit the form, we (or the matched installer) will contact you by telephone about the application you have made — that is, to discuss your window requirements and arrange a free, no-obligation home survey. We may also contact you by email in connection with the same enquiry. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing.

The lawful bases we rely on are your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you have made.

Who we share it with

Qualified enquiries may be passed to a single matched, accredited installer in our network so they can prepare your quote and arrange a survey. We also use trusted service providers (for example hosting and analytics) who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep it longer to meet a legal or regulatory obligation.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
